New logistics warehouse, Gebrüder Weiss

In a consortium with the partners Rhomberg Bau and i+R Schertler, JÄGER was commissioned with the construction of a new headquarters building and a logistics hall for Gebrüder Weiss in Lauterach. The construction work was preceded by comprehensive earthworks. In a very short time, a construction volume equivalent to EUR 7.0 million was realised. Within the consortium, JÄGER was responsible for the construction of the logistics warehouse. This industrial hall measured 80 x 50 metres, and a basement was constructed under part of it - for parking purposes and for the construction of a 600-m³ sprinkler basin. The sub-basements were built in solid construction. Rising components were mostly assembled in the shortest possible time from prefabricated reinforced concrete parts. The required precast columns were up to 16 metres in length and, in line with a special proposal from the JÄGER team, were moved in one piece along with the corresponding individual foundations.
