ARA Ludesch sewage works

In the course of construction of the high-load basin, the inlet pipe was installed from the sand trap below the scum board. The blower engine house was built on to the raking hall at ground level, the access extended and the external staircase removed. The valve pit for the process water pipe was rebuilt in the void between the high load basin and the blower engine house. A major challenge was to keep the plant operational during the entire reconstruction phase.
