On September 21, bosses, workers, employees and apprentices from Vorarlberg rose to the challenge of the Business Run 2018. From its starting point in the Casino Stadium, the 5-km route followed the shoreline of Lake Constance and wound around the Festival Theatre. Fortunately, the promised rain held off long enough for the runners to make it to the finish line without being deluged.
Team spirit transcends departments and sites: From a small JÄGER team in 2017, three times as many members of staff from every business area registered for the run this year. From the board of management to site management, from IT to sales, hardly anyone wanted to miss out on the 9th Business Run.
The fastest Jäger man ran crossed the finish line in only 20 minutes 13 seconds, while the fittest lady runner completed the distance in 24 minutes and 23 seconds. Our 30-strong Jäger team took the run by storm with a proud team average time of 00:29:19.
After all the sporting fun, the celebrations moved on to the legendary Oktoberfest, where the runners partied into the small hours with cold tankards of beer, Munich sausage and party music from the Sumpfkröten.
